Infinite Void Prologue: Chapter VII

A PLAY OF CARICATURE

Kalory, though seeming to be quite disappointed with his recent relatively polite conversation with Yiist, marches his legs towards to the playgrounds of the city. There he observes his environment carefully for just a second- observing how all the people discuss rowdy , yet convincing traditions, before moving along to the outskirts of the city to relax himself from all the objectives that had been done for the day.

“Damn, was I wrong in informing him of those remnants? What if that’s where he tries to get his assignment next? Well, that’s not going to be possible till he gets released from on-call suspension release.” Kalory thought to himself.

“Sir Kalory.” Said a bystander.

“Who is it that speaks?” Asked Kalory.

“1st Division Captain of The Emerald City Knights, Jack Er’Miga.” Responded the Captain of the 1st division.

There stood another one of the typical dogs of the Empire, residing in a different region. Standing only about half a feet shorter than the Celestial Knight, and dressed in all blue wrapped around a fake-plate of gold covering the entire torso from the front, all the way to the back. This look of his only suited that of a fairly raised raisin of the City thriving with unlimited amounts of Emerald, put in place eons ago by the Hizblair Star Of Destruction.

“Oh, quite a pleasure to have you standing here. What is it that brings an Emamma here ?” Commented Kalory.

“Just some mere message or should I say.. ‘request’ to ask of you.” Said Jack.

“Spit all the stars out, then.” Said Kalory.

“I have no business to be done with the Fleet, but they require immediate aid for keeping the outpost of the Eastern Colony of Jazaria intact.”

“Why would you need my assistance for this sort of mere task? Isn’t it the objective of your own established fleet to not have anyone else meddle in their affairs?” Asked Kalory.

“If it really were that easy, I wouldn’t be standing before a typically chosen giant of a Celestial Knight, asking for this simple request, Sir Kalory.” Replied Jack.

“Hehe, you got big tone, Jack. I’ll give you that. I’ll deal with your fleet trying to suck its own pacifier, but first tell me who are you even going against.” Said Kalory.

“Of course, it is none other than the Vasuntarian Empire attacking the outpost.” Said Jack.

“Wait, why would they be attacking a colony of ours at this moment, when we’re trying to corner them on their end?” Asked Kalory.

“I have barely any intel on that, I’m afraid. We just need to make sure that outpost doesn’t fall.” Said Jack.

“I’ll be on terms to provide you aid with this attack; however, you are to give back a reward which would be one of your best space-cruisers.” Said Kalory.

“Covenant made.” Said Jack.

A mystery upon mysteries, Emerald City barely held its own nation in the preceding history. After being held as a commonwealth of The Olivian Empire, it wasn’t really that shortly after that it became an official city of The Empire. It still has its own distinct troops, economy, ruler, and fleet; however, seeks for aid at dire times.

Albeit, they’re not recognized by the outsiders as a separate entity, they themselves somewhat consider themselves to be separate from The Empire. Would it really be ironic to ask for help? Maybe, but it’s an irony from both sides pertaining to scorny political and territorial affiliations.
Irony may come in all forms, but when it’s about standing between the deception of your enemy,  and your own, is when that irony no longer remains a constant irony, but a reality established by both entities.

……………………………………………………………………………………………

“Are we that ignorant or what?” Ironically asked Senator Defrcof Quaig, representing the The North Eastern Quarter Of The Cluster known as “Jiagrotophisia”, the very part in which the solar system of Oliviath resides in.

“You’ll remain calm, or we’ll deal with this a new fashioned way, Quaig. Learn to be not a big narcissistic child.” Replied Senator Turwag Xerox, representing the South Eastern Quarter of The Cluster.

“Watch your mouth, TURWAG! You’re always interrupting me in such conversations pertaining to my end, and making fallible comments on it.” Said angrily Senator Quaig.

“What else do you expect me to do? Stand by here and pretend as if nothing ever happened? Please, don’t give me any such nonsense. One of your babies is at war with a civilization that probably can unveil the secret doctrines of civilizations that probably your stomach can’t even bear to digest. You should be at least as fortunate that the council didn’t put your tongue cut out of existen-“ Said an angry Xerox before getting interrupted.

“Can you two little creatures actually get out of this room, please ? This is a council, not a daycare centre. If you two want to argue further, you’re free to do so with the consequence of impeachment from the council. Sometimes, I think that maybe Chancellor Oatsh probably wasn’t wise enough to pick candidates. He’s always so eager to slack off his musty tidy rug. ” Stopped the argument and commented, Vice Chancellor Roug Harfors.

“ With all respect, your excellence, I must intervene and say that something really must be done with this current situation. It’s good that we didn’t assist The Olivians with their war, but we still must make measure to act for a neutral cause.”  Said Senator Garga Riberoy.

“We’ll deal with that situation shortly, Senator Riberoy, but for now, let’s keep these two children out of the discussion. I’ll ask Chancellor Oatsh for a settled resolution in the following days for this unfortunate predicament”  Replied Harfors.

The council is not really at its best course, especially when it selects candidates that have barely matured past their mental cognition. For them to settle all of this matter between wars and stability is indeed quite coarsely harsh and rapidly frustrating for everyone in the council, and the Cluster as a whole.
The Olivian Emperor, prideful of his own Empire, never stands up to decisions proposed other than his own , and has quite a lack of empathy for any other civilization within the galaxy and the Cluster. A dwarf he stands to be, but his head is harder than the sizes of his Elite Celestial Knights.

At the peak of the controversy in the council, all stands still, and the two heated Senators are at Rehab Colony, suspended for about two months. In their absence, interim representatives were selected by the Vice Chancellor, while the Chancellor himself kept enjoying his hibernation in oblivion.

……………………………………………………………………………………………

“General ! I’ve managed to convince Sir Kalory to aid us in such dismay.” Said Jack.

“Excellent, even if we can’t ever get much aid from The Empire, at least we can rely on their Celestial Knights.” Said The General.

“I’m not so sure, they seem stubborn and greedy for satisfaction and reward, if you ask me.” Commented Jack.

“Isn’t that how we all are, though? Jack, relax, and just learn to observe your environment as it is. Nothing comes to satisfy the brink of expectation.” Said The General.

“Maybe you’re right. Is there anything else that I shall acquire for this rendezvous mission?” Asked Jack.

“That shall be all. Have your division dispatched. I’ll have the 6th and 9th Division to be dispatched at that location as well.” Said The General.

“Understood. Jack Out !” .
